Advantages

Advantages to the customers that use the 800 number instead of calling the service company direct include:

  • A single toll-free number to call for service allows the collection of data for repair costs and frequency for each location.
  • The database for each location will list the appropriate servicer, selected by the customer, for each piece of equipment.
  • Employees at the local store can call the 800 number with confidence that the correct servicer will be dispatched.
  • Since the warranty expiration date on each piece of equipment is listed, the customer will not be incorrectly billed for warranty service.
  • A live operator is available to take calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • The customer knows the call will be dispatched to the selected servicer. They can expect a call within 30 minutes during normal business hours or 90 minutes after normal business hours.
  • Customer will be furnished a monthly summary of calls received.
