facility management process:
- Is there an overall facilities management plan?
- Who makes maintenance and repair decisions today?
- What criteria is used for service provider selection?
- What data is collected on R&M activities?
Next, we’ll ask about your areas of concern and priorities
for improvement. For example:
- Issues relating to asset type: food equipment, HVAC, etc…
- Problems in a particular geographic region(s)
- Inconsistencies in asset maintenance and service delivery
- Incomplete or inaccurate repair history and cost data
Now the fun begins, as we share ideas and concepts, creating a
vision of what the solution should look like:
- Process controls for consistent service performance
- Improved efficiency and morale with properly functioning equipment
- Unit managers focused on operations instead of facilities
